The Food Delivery app is an on-demand solution, the primary goal of which is to help users purchase the food they want immediately, regardless of their location. With this in mind, in addition to the standard interface for restaurants and users, DB2 created a solution for kitchens to optimize their ordering system, and one for couriers enabling them to reach the customers faster.
With the aid of GPS, you can inform the restaurant of your location. You can also type in your address, and the app provides you with a list of restaurants that can deliver food. Choose which meal you would like and then proceed to the next step.
View the list of restaurant that matches your search criteria and choose the one you like most by analyzing its rating, reviews and the remoteness from you.
A description of the food you wish to order is specified as much as possible. Moreover, you can tailor the meal to your taste and change ingredients accordingly.
Here you can access information regarding your order, e.g., the cost of the meal and the courier’s expected time of arrival. The user can track the courier’s route and also change their location if needed. The courier can see the customer’s location.
DB2 has developed a web platform for the food delivery service, which makes it easy to order food whether you’re at home of work. The system is as intuitive and straightforward as the mobile app, and you can choose from various payment methods, (Credit/Debit card, Twint, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Post Finance.)
DB2 carefully considered each element of the application architecture, so it works equally well on all platforms and devices, (iOS, Android, Web, and Desktop.)
